WWI: Love and Sorrow at the Melbourne Museum opened in September 2014

The exhibition uses personal experience to convey the emotional effects of the war, following the lives of eight people with distinct perspectives – soldiers, witnesses and those left at home.

FRD developed a smartphone app allowing visitors to follow a particular character through the exhibition. The app also provided additional material and media giving context to the objects on display.
