A Pop-Up Exhibition Celebrating the Greek Community in Australia.

Our People, Their Stories is a project created to capture and share the memories of the Greek migrant community in Australia, a community that has helped shape the cultural and spiritual fabric of this country.

As one of the largest and most vibrant centres of the Greek Diaspora, the Greek-Australian community holds generations of stories: of migration, faith, resilience and belonging. This exhibition brings those stories to life through personal narratives and treasured artefacts, ensuring they are not lost to time, but shared with pride across generations.

Designed and delivered by FRD in just five weeks, this pop-up exhibition is both a creative and cultural achievement. From concept to installation, the FRD team worked closely with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia to shape a compelling visitor experience, including exhibition design, object conservation and the display of extraordinary ecclesiastical artefacts, many of which had never before been seen by the public. The exhibition highlights the Church’s role as the heart of the community, a place not only of worship but of connection, memory and identity.
