FRD were engaged to design and document a series of freestanding exhibits about MAGNT’s collection of unique boats, their journeys, the people behind them, and the maritime practices from this region.
The exhibition includes a series of freestanding interpretation structures which include graphics, touchscreen interactives and physical children’s interactives. The simple forms and restrained material and colour palette provide a suitable backdrop in which to highlight the features of the boats and assists visitors in navigating the large double volume space.
