FRD utilised a strong colour palette that reflects the natural hues present in the Darwin region

FRD worked with a Larrakia ethno-botanist and artists to produce graphics that are both accurate and important to the Larrakia people of the Darwin region. This includes illustrations of native and endemic species of plants as well as the collections of the Gardens including their Baobab and Palm collections.

FRD utilised a strong colour palette that reflects the natural hues present in the Darwin region and successfully weaved strong typography, contemporary and historical photography and original illustrations into an accessible and interesting exhibition.

Three permanent exhibitions at the Ningaloo Centre take visitors on a journey through the region’s social history, ‘reef to range’ ecological diversity and ancient landscapes.
