The centre was designed to showcase the latest in compact, sustainable and affordable housing

Habitat21 centre is series of five archiect-designed prototype houses built by VicUrban in partnership a number of other government agencies and volume builder Burbank.

FRD was appointed to design, construct and install an interpretive display within the houses that would highlight the key features of each house, its architect’s philosophy, and a series of key learnings from the project overall. The design uses a combination of graphic panels, iPads and brochures to both convey information and reshape attitudes among industry groups and home buyers/owners.
