Sydney Under Attack | Australian War Memorial, Canberra
Anzac Hall provides 3000 sq m of exhibition space for the display of some of the memorial’s most significant large objects within an ‘object theatre’ presentation designed by Freeman Ryan Design which integrates lighting, sound and multimedia to bring the objects and their stories to life. The stage 1 permanent exhibition Sydney Under Attack features the famous Japanese midget submarine, reassembled from sections of two of the three submarines that entered and attacked Sydney Harbour in 1942.
