This stage 1 permanent multimedia installation within Anzac Hall features the rapid-fire guns from the light cruisers HMAS Sydney and SMS Emden, which battled off the Cocos (Keeling) Islands in World War I in the Royal Australian Navy’s first ship-against-ship engagement and victory.
